The business was started in 1939 by Woodrow W. Dambach on 22 acres and has grown to the present 500 acre production of taxus, arborvitae, juniper, hemlock, spruce, pine, ornamental shade trees and a large re-wholesale yard of many varieties of plants. Alan Dambach joined his father after graduating from college and serving in the U.S. Air Force. He took sole ownership in 1983. Alan's son, Kevin, joined him in partnership in 1990.
